Women-Owned, Team-Powered: How ESS Thrives as a Women-Operated Business

Did you know that here at Express Strategic Services, we are a woman-owned and operated company? What started as a couple of businesswomen embarking on a new journey together in 2016 has led to a full-scale marketing agency composed of 12 amazing women! And let us tell you, we are not just colleagues - we are family. The kind of family where we’ve mastered balancing client deadlines, endless emails, and the daily chaos of being parents.

We’re moms, daughters, sisters, and everything in between, all working together to get things done while managing our busy lives at home. Between school runs, soccer games, and a never-ending to-do list, we still show up for each other and our clients with a smile (and maybe a little caffeine).

It’s not always pretty, but it works – and it works because of the teamwork and support we give one another. We know that sometimes you have to juggle kids, meetings, and the occasional meltdown (from both the kids and the adults), but somehow, we pull it all off. And we do it with humor, heart, and a whole lot of grit.

As we celebrate Women's History Month, we're proud to highlight the women who make our company thrive. We honor the remarkable women on our team and the generations of women who paved the way for us to do what we love. We’re committed to continuing the legacy of empowerment, collaboration, and creativity that women everywhere have championed.

So, whether we’re brainstorming creative strategies, making sure the energy drinks are always stocked, or swapping stories about the latest family adventure, we’re proud to be a woman-owned business that thrives on collaboration and fun. Here’s to 12 incredible women who show up every day, get things done, and still manage to keep our homes running and our sanity (mostly) intact!
